This is such a delicous way to use up half of a country loaf recipe. I will make one regular loaf and then use this recipe for the second half of the dough. I love to bake mine in mini loaf pans for friends!

Ingredients
- 1/2 country loaf recipe
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
Carmel Topping
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Make a country loaf per instructions. After the first rise you will cut your bread dough into 3 sections per loaf. I used 4 mini loaf pans for this or you can use one regular size loaf pan. Roll the dough into a log and cover with butter. Then roll your dough in the brown sugar. This will give a delicious crunchy streusel top!
Carmel Topping
- Whisk together the ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes.Remove from heat and pour over the bread when ready.
